Description: The Adaptive Workstation allows blind and visually impaired individuals to use print materials, access the library's website and navigate the Internet. Software includes MAGic Screen Magnification Software, OpenBook and JAWS Screen Reading Software. Translating and printing to Braille is also available.

Eligibility Criteria: Anyone can use our Adaptive Workstation
Ages Served: All ages
Assistive Technology Assistance Available:
  • Information Referral
  • Staff will offer assistance on all but the JAWS software. Training may be available through the Minnesota State Services for the Blind.
