Description: Medical Assistance (MA) is Minnesota’s Medicaid program for people with low incomes. MA is Minnesota’s largest health care program and serves children and families, pregnant women, adults without children, seniors and people who are blind or have a disability.

Disabilities Served: Many types of disability.
Eligibility Criteria: To get coverage, you must: 1. Be a Minnesota resident. 2. Be a U.S. citizen or a qualifying noncitizen. 3. Provide a Social Security number, unless an exception is met. 4. Meet the income and asset limit, if applicable. 5. Meet any individual program requirements.
